Assessments
Assessments for organizations planning a new project, country program or tender, and for donors deciding whether or where to fund. They give a clear picture so that informed decisions can be made.
SERVICES
What I can help with
Feasibility assessments
Whether a new project or country program is viable: context, access, partners, risks and likely costs.
Needs and context assessments
What the needs are, who is already working in the area, and where a new project could add value.
Tender and funding preparation
Groundwork before you bid: donor requirements, context, partners, risks and a realistic cost basis.
Proposal writing
Help writing the proposal or tender response, so it meets the donor's requirements and reflects what you can actually deliver.
What you get
An assessment report with clear findings and recommendations.
If agreed in the terms of reference, I can also provide input to the project design, such as the theory of change, logframe, activities and budget basis.
How it works
1. Scope and cost
We agree on the terms of reference: the questions to answer, the scope and the methods. The cost is based on the number of days needed, including preparation and reporting.
2. Research
Document review, interviews and field visits, on site or remotely.
3. Report
Findings and recommendations, discussed with you before the report is final.
