Standards and principles
I follow the CHS Alliance guidelines for investigating misconduct, and IMAS 10.60 for accidents and incidents in mine action.
Every investigation is independent, confidential and based on evidence. Where people have been harmed, their safety and wellbeing come first.
How it works
1. Scope and cost
We agree on the terms of reference: what is to be investigated, the timeline and how the findings will be reported. The cost is based on the number of days needed.
2. Investigation
Review of documents and evidence, and interviews with those involved, handled confidentially.
3. Report
Findings based on the evidence, with recommendations, delivered to the organization or donor that commissioned the investigation.
